Spent a day at the nearby Royal Gorge, CO. What’s there? Well there’s a suspension bridge that is one of the world’s highest. The views of the gorge and the Arkansas river below are stunning. It was built in 1929 for $350,000, the cost today would exceed 20 million.
They also have a zip line, didn’t do it though, anything after Costa Rica is anti climatic. Watched crazy people do the Sky coaster which is this big free fall swing thing from which people fly at 50mph and see the Arkansas River 1200 ft below. Made us nauseous just looking at it. See that little black spec in the cloud, that’s 2 people!!
