We’re back in Ontario

After spending three cold, windy and rainy days at a park in Port Sanilac, Michigan (west side of Lake Huron) we came back to exactly the same kind of weather in Ontario last Monday. Very glad we didn’t come back to Ontario any earlier because according to everyone we’ve talked to, April and May have been wet and cold, very little sunshine.

Had no problems crossing the border, very few questions from the customs officer, he just sent us on our way. Gotta love that!

We parked the trailer at Dave’s brother’s place near Newmarket. Nice to see the family there and meet our new little great niece Gabriella. That’s her with Dad Bryan and Gramma Gloria. Her sister Maya was celebrating her 4th birthday.

We’re at my Dad’s today and it’s finally nice out. Sunny and highs of almost 20C. Perfect day for doing some yard work for him. Tomorrow we head back to Grand Bend to cottage sit for three weeks so I hope the good weather continues!

This is the red bud tree in Dad’s back yard, it was my Mom’s favourite, it’s beautiful in the spring
