From the white sand beaches of Huntington Beach State park! We came back here after Myrtle Beach state park because as of December 1st, they reduce their daily rates in half until end of Feb. Can’t beat that for a park like this.
So we’ve been hanging out here, walking, biking, fishing and yes we fished on Christmas day afternoon. Dave even caught a blue fish and made the day of a little guy by letting him hold it….however he quickly gave it back and ran to wash off his slimy hands. LOL!
So we hope everyone back at home had a great Christmas with friends and family and that you’re staying warm. Speaking of warm we’re hoping you noticed we were actually in shorts in the first pic. Yeah it was sunny but notice how we ultimately covered up in subsequent pics. It was really only in the 50s F when we were fishing so not really short weather but we were hoping to make y’all a little jealous. Did it work????
Hopefully more from Huntington Beach State park in the days to come. Sorry for the lack of updates but as nice as this park is, the WIFI sucks. Hardly works from the trailer so actually making a website update from it is next to impossible. Had to find a library to do these….I’m just hoping it actually works fairly quickly.
