Big Dog sittin’ - Tiverton,ON

Walking with Kegger and Stella, it’s obviously treat time since Dave seems to have their undivided attention

September went by quickly! We house & cat sat for our friends Terry and Tracey for a couple of weeks and then caught up with my Dad for the rest of the month.

The first week of October we ended up in Tiverton for a farm sitting assignment for Sarah and Neal, a very nice young couple we met online via one of the house sitting websites we belong too. They were looking for someone to look after their 2 dogs, 4 horses and a few barn cats on a rural property on Ontario’s west coast, not far from the Bruce Nuclear Power plant on Lake Huron. Anyone who knows us knows that’s right up our alley so it was a great opportunity to get our animal fix in.

The week flew by, the dogs were the best company! Kegger, a Bull Mastiff and Cane Corso Mastiff cross was 6 months old, 80lbs and growing. What a face and what a great personality! Just one BIG sweetie! Stella, a purebred doberman was 2.5 years old and more like a cat than a dog, a real snuggler. In fact they both wanted to be near or touching us all the time. No cold feet in that house! Both dogs were very well trained and a pleasure to look after.

Check out the critter pictures!
