Spent 3 weeks farm sitting in August 2011 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Felt like the old days on our farm. Loved being around all the animals. Check out the BLOG!

Riding arena and lots of grass to cut

Thank god for this pool, needed it to cool off after chores..it was a hot August!

Dave’s favourite toy, he had fun cutting the grass with this lawnmower......no lie!

Good thing because there was lots of grass to cut and with all the heat and rain, it needed cutting 4 times within our 3 weeks here.

Meeka. This 5 month old border collie was a handful but what pup isn’t? Smart, snuggly....we fell in love with her!

This young skunk showed up 3 days after we got here. Tried throwing this frisbee at it to scare it away. Didn’t quite have the effect I was looking for...

Apparently skunks beat up frisbees...who knew? Thankfully no one got sprayed before it left. Dave chased it away while on the riding lawn mover the following day.

Lots of good food from this garden. I even enjoyed weeding it!

Special Charlie, a sweetie. He got to dine alone in the tack room because when he tried to eat with the group, he got picked on too much.

Chai... I think she was my favourite cat. A real snuggler, always wanting to be picked up.
