The beach in Gulf Shores is beautiful! We had the best weather and a great time during this visit to Alabama. Check out the BLOG!

Had to pay $8/person to fish here on top of the cost of your fishing license. Not worth it for the short time we were here so only paid the $2/person sight seeing fee.

But the day she left, it opened…bad timing A! They were having problems getting the chemicals sorted out and the pool really was this lovely shade of purple! Dave pretended to do the slide just to make A. Jealous!

3 days later and the pool looks great! This time Dave really did do the red slide…his first time going down one! I did the yellow and green slides, my first time too!

Next door to the waterslide pool, they’re working hard on another pool and lazy river that they expect to open on April 1. Ratz! Looks like it’s going to be nice!

A reminder that not long ago this beach was a mess from the oil spill. They’ve done a great job getting it back to beautiful but they’re still patroling it for tar balls. That’s what this guy with the net is looking for.
