My first time in a kayak was fun…...

….but getting stuck on rocks wasn’t. The water was pretty shallow so if you didn’t steer just right you got beached and getting off the rock was hard work.

Success! I’m free for a little while anyways!

That’s where we had to pull the kayaks up from …. after 4 hours out in the sun, that was the hardest part of the day.

Caroline’s calling a cab to take us all of 10 minutes back to the car where we started 4 hours ago.
