Back at Mike and Andee’s - soaking up the sun and the heat, feels soooo good!
....And today is sunny and warm and almost 79F outside. Beats freezing Florida any day!!! When we left yesterday am, there was frost!
Getting here wasn’t without it’s challenges though. As we were putting the trailer and truck in storage at the RV park back in Florida, another tire blew on the trailer. Luckily it didn’t prevent us from parking it. Then when Dave went to pay the guy who drove us to the airport, he realized he’d forgotten his wallet and there wasn’t enough time left to go back and get it. Luckily I had both passports so we were still able to board the plane. Once we got thru all the security, we found out our flight was delayed for 90 minutes...damm, we could have gone back for the wallet! Turns out it was delayed for even longer than that. They say bad things happen in 3’s so I guess we’re done with all the bad/annoying stuff...at least for now, I hope. Damm Murphy’s law!
Good thing about the delay was that we used the time and email (gotta love WIFI) to figure out a way (long story) to get the wallet sent back to the house here. If all goes well, we should have it in a week.
Once we got on the plane, the flight to Costa Rica was fast and uneventful, just the way they should be. It’s great to see Mike and Andee again and even Rocky (their cat) seemed to remember us. No hissing or running away like last time and he even tolerated me annoying him with Bill and Mikey!
Looking forward to getting lost in the 6,000 sq. ft. of the house after 4 months of living in the trailer!
