We stayed in Biloxi for 4 nights at a pretty nice RV park but boy the sites were tight!  WOW was it hot during our stay here in June. Close to 100F and over every day with the humidity. Brutal but thank god for the pool. Check out the BLOG!

We stayed at this RV park in the heart of Biloxi and yes, the oak trees were huge.

We managed to get a nice end site but we just barely fit in.

Great little pool but it was so warm it was just barely refreshing.

Mikey wanted to check out the main beach in Biloxi

A local chainsaw artist has turned a number of the tree stumps left in the wake of hurricane Katrina into sculptures all along the main Biloxi beach front.

Boarded the ferry to ship island by 8am and man was it hot waiting for everyone to load.

There’s a fort on the island that you can tour, we didn’t, too friggin’ hot. Apparently it was submerged after Katrina.

As you can see by the natural landscape here, there is NO shade to be found on the island. You gotta bring your own. Our little beach tent was perfect!

If you didn’t bring your own shade you could rent an umbrella and a couple of chairs.

Mikey made it to the beach. Not much to do here but bake in the sun and swim in the murky gulf.

Trekking back to the ferry at 5. It was a long hot day out in the sun and the water was so warm….not even refreshing :-(
