This RV park is right on the bay so it’s easy to walk to the beach or take a quick drive over to the fishing pier. Check out the BLOG!

When we arrived on Thursday we almost had the park to ourselves but it got busy over the weekend.

The Matagorda Bay beach….wavy and full of seaweed, too bad!

Check out those teeth and this is just a baby. I tink he lost a few grinding on the pliers we had to put in his mouth to get the hook out….but they grow back!

Lucky for him he was less than 24” long so we couldn’t keep him.

10 minutes later I caught another one, also to small to keep

Our second fishing day, no keepers but Dave finally caught his first shark, lucky for it, it was also too small to keep.

At the RV park had to laugh at this guy. Where are my people????? Believe it or not he didn’t even make a peep!

Third fishing day, caught another small shark, lots of catfish and plenty of seaweed.

Tried fishing at the dock on the Colorado River in the RV park. Luck wasn’t with us here either.
