Yes that’s an elephant. Some guy in Cut and Shoot keeps them on his farm there when they aren’t performing in the circus.

Our site at Johnson Creek RV park, Ingram, TX. A little tight but amenities were good, they even had a pool...

Yeah the pool….not open and it was 95F just about every day we were there.

Johnson’s creek, this made up for pool being closed. It was cool, clear, refreshing and deep.

Water was so clear you could even see huge fish swimming around from this high up.

This park is in the middle of a working pecan orchard….if we were ever to come back here, we’d ask for one of the sites that backed up into all this green space.

We had this whole section to ourselves for 5 nights and got spoiled with the peace and quiet. Then it got packed for the Easter long weekend and our oasis disappeared.

Now this was a great site, #104, right on the water but the wind was crazy just about the whole week we were there.
