We stayed in Austin for a few days, caught up with an old friend, saw a natural sink hole and got to experience close to a million bats in much closer proximity than we ever thought we would. Check out the BLOG!

They have bat boat tours as well. I’m not sure I’d want to be under a million bats when they fly out from under a bridge….think about it! Eeeewww!

When they finally started to emerge, it was pretty dark and this was the only picture I took that actually showed them.

On the walk back to our truck, saw some interesting signs. On one side of the street, it’s the shape of this one that makes you look….

And opposite of it is this one…nothing subtle about their advertising.

Our site in the Austin, Lone Star RV park, parking lot. It was right beside I-35 so not a peaceful place….convenient to stuff though.
