Here’s some pictures from around the RV park and the town. Lots of wildflowers, brightly coloured houses and of course the ocean and some fish. Check out the BLOG!

Our site is in the new section so it’s wide open, nothing fancy but it’s full hookup, includes WIFI and cable and close to everything.

Lots of loud, honking ducks. Every morning there’s an egg or two laying around, baby ducks should be coming soon!

The owners put on a number of get togethers during Feb and March while most of the winter Texans are here. They supply the main dish, we all bring the rest. Great way to socialize and get to know other RVers.

So far all the money in the new development has gone into the elaborate fencing. Love the swordfish detail.

Oh pelicans…love them but man they’re a pest when they know you’ve got fish and these two stalked us, it’s kinda creepy.

Watch your butt Dave….not long after I took this pic they flew off, one of them went right into Dave’s line and got tangled up. We had to pull it up by the beak (not an easy task) and untangle it. Phew! It wasn’t harmed and flew off.

Fishing on a dock in the barge canal, lots of interesting boat traffic. This is just a little barge...

My 2fer, both black drums and the biggest one (18”) was big enough to keep. We got two more that day so they made for a good meal!

Dave hooked this blue crab one day and while yes good eating, we set him free once he was untangled. Man do you have to be careful not to get pinched!
