Some of the wierd and wonderful things we’ve caught this trip. Back to the BLOG!

Some little girls fishing at the end of the pier that day called Dave’s catch “impressive”! They were so cute!

Our neighbour took us out in his boat for a morning of fishing and this is our haul, 3 black drum and 1 flounder. We caught a lot more but all too small to keep.

Flounder close up, aren’t they strange looking. They’re a flat fish that is always on the bottom so both eyes are on the top of their head.

They are really good to eat. There’s 2 filets on the top of it and 2 on the bottom. Strange one to clean.

This little guy swam right at the pier one day and just stopped and hung out for pics. This is zoomed way in and is just a baby version of the huge one Dave caught.
