The garden is massive. 36 tomato plants, full rows of eggplant, peppers, beets, cabbage, potatoes. Cucumbers, squash. When everything is ready there’s going to be some insane preserving happening. In the meantime we’re pigging out on fresh everything…it tastes so much better when picked and eaten right away!

This is a crookneck squash….a kind of zucchini. Odd thing and Jury is still out on whether or not it’s a good veggie. Tried grilling them and they got mushy but we’ll keep trying.

All our stuff. Truck and camper plus we’ll be towing the small trailer in middle. It’s going to be our portable garage full of biking, hiking and fishing gear etc. The big white trailer has all the rest of our belongings that we don’t need while travelling.

One of my painting projects for Ruth. This was a book shelf of her Mom’s that wasn’t being used because the wood didn’t go with the rest of the room so I painted and glazed it to modernize it.

Thrift bedside table before and after

We had been searching and searching for a small bedside table for one of the bedrooms and everything in all the home stores was so expensive. Then we found this at a thrift store for $10…perfect size! Just needed a good cleaning and some updating and voila!
