A few more pics from around Huntington Beach State park. Check out the BLOG!

Turns out our kitty is a mom. This was one of the last times we saw her. She seemed to disappear the last few weeks but we had a feeling she was pregnant again so hopefully she was just busy looking after her babies.

We even tried different bait. Dave scraped off barnacles etc from the rocks and took out all the good stuff. Then I sewed them into little mesh bags to put on our hooks. Didn’t catch anything with them either so all that work for nothing!

We finally figured out it was shrimp they were after, we found all kinds of transparent shells on the beach.

Everytime we went over the causeway, saw it paddling around alone, in about the same area, looking for food.
