Another geyser basin to visit on the way back to the lake. This is the Mud Geyser and the sulpher smell here was the strongest yet!

OMG!!! I always thought they were a myth!

They do exist2

But they do exist! My first moose sighting in the wild! At 2 in the afternoon, just out having a drink in the marsh across from Yellowstone Lake.

They do exist

A young male based his nubby little antlers. I was thrilled to see him, made my day!!

Gotta keep an eye on these huge ravens that cruise the park looking for food and rubber to rip off your vehicle. Bold buggers!

Just an example of how past forest fires have destroyed thousands of trees in the park. Acres of burnt trees all over.
