Appropriately named Crackling lake. Why? The earth all around it was crackling and hissing as heat was released into the air and the water.

The roaring mountain…it’s alive with volcanic activity, not much to be heard while we were standing here.

When you enter the park every vehicle gets a warning stating that “Many visitors have been gored by Buffalo. These animals may appear tame but are wild, unpredictable and dangerous. DO NOT APPROACH BUFFALO." Are these people illiterate or stupid?? I guess stupid. As promised, my stupid human pics! DUH!

Just as I was taking this picture, the sun went behind the clouds but the effect ended up making the landscape look even more surreal.

The waterfalls it created is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Looks like it’s carved out of marble.
