Beautiful park but a day isn’t nearly long enough to really see it. This is going on our “Have to come back here list". Check out the BLOG!

Lots of green fields with this strip of mountains in the middle. Not much in the way of foothills to be seen on either side.

View towards Jackson Hole, Wyoming from the pull out at the Teton Pass, Elevation - 8,431 ft. Stopped here had lunch, we were wishing we had more time because it looked like there were some great hiking trails here.

We had to travel over the Teton Range to get to the southern entrance to the park in Jackson, WY. Near the peak, 6 miles of 10% grade up thru lots of tight 20 -25 mph switch backs. Glad we weren’t hauling the trailers.

On the way down, 6 miles of 10% grade with 20 - 25mph switchbacks. Truck brake fluid overheated so had to pull over and let it cool down. Definitely not a route to be pulling a big trailer on.

Over 2.5 hours to get here from the PV par in Island Park, ID. Now you can see the Teton mountain range from the east side in Wyoming. there are no foothills to obstruct your view.

Stopped at the first visitors centre to check out what kind of hikes etc were available in the park. Happy to say this isn’t the only moose I saw on the road trip!

What you can’t see from a distance are the 6 glacial lakes at the bottom of the mountain range on this side.

A trail head for a hike going up one of the Tetons….look like there would be plenty of trails to keep us busy in this park. Bears here too but not as many or as active as those in Yellowstone.
