Another cool, old city but we liked Charleston better, hard to explain why, especially with pictures. So some day, you’ll just have to go to both places yourself to check them out and decide which is nicer Check out the BLOG!

Our misty, foggy, wet campsite on Skidaway Island State Park, just south of Savannah, GA the saltwater marsh was just beyond the picnic table which was concrete so it couldn’t float away.

Found a colony of about 15 feral cats on the island that someone was obviously caring for.

We just had to contribute a bag of cat foof to there cause but they weren’t starving thats for sure!

Went for a bike ride on the island one day and managed to sneak our way into this private golf community...their golf cart paths looked like bike paths and we were just gonna play dumb if anyone asked, no one did!

How would all you golfers like to play on this course!

Or to live in a big house like this in the middle of the golf course.

Golf cart vs. bike path, who can tell? Especially when you ignore the private property signs :-)

Tybee is an island just off the coast of Savannah.

Managed to get there on a sunny but again, as you can tell by how I’m dressed, a colder day.

Once you figured out what these lumps of sand were…...

Live sand dollars everywhere on the beach at low tide.

This is what they look like underneath when there’s still a live sea urchin living in it.

Didn’t find a single test, all live ones

One of the bedrooms on board, not bad accomodations! Apparently they use this ship to teach kids how to sail, we’d like to sign up for those clasess!

One of the few, cool iron gates in town.

The Forsythe Fountain, they were getting ready for wedding the day we were there.

An example of old meets new, kinda took away from the impressiveness of the area.

Finally found some big, old, impressive mansions.

Some nice places but they just didn’t compare to Charleston.
