Only spent 5 nights in SK but we had a lot of fun here. We were able to hook up with my friend Pete (from University) and his family and I got MIKEY back! It’s all explained in the BLOG!

Historical info about Fort Walsh - why it existed and it’s significance....enough to be a National Historic site

Fort Walsh - in the middle of the prairies there are few valleys like this, great place to be sheltered from the winter cold and can you imagine just getting on a horse and riding thru this countryside? It would be awesome!

Peg, Dennis....we actually got to go inside and guess what? They had flush toilets in one of the buildings, real authentic eh? :-)

A different kind of prairie dog, I believe they’re called a 13 striped prairie dog (no chance to count and confirm though!)
