That’s what 360 million year old rock looks like

The sheep at the hot springs aren’t shy but this guy had had just about enough attention and was on his way out.

Told you it was a day for the hot springs, it sure felt like rain but it never did

Not sure what this flower is but it was growing along a hike we did at the hot springs

Jasper Rodeo2

The week we were there the Jasper rodeo was on. We decided to go on the last day, Saturday it was “tough enough to wear pink night” in support of Breast cancer research.

Ok so just when you think you’ve seen the biggest elk ever, an even bigger boy decides to show himself off to ongoing traffic. This guy is almost an 8 point buck, as big a rack at they get. Note his sparrow hitchhiker!

Look close, those are a mom and baby mountain goat right at the side of the road.

Not the most attractive animals are they? Kinda odd looking but we felt priviledged to see them this close up and in the wild.
