Park we stayed at, and it really was right beside some active tracks but a good base camp for exploring the area

Bright Angel trail head, we hope to do this someday but need to train because it’s 7 miles down in extreme heat! Not to mention the killer return trip back up

Holes were made in this rock to make the hike easier for both human and mule.

This is as far down as we walked...HOT! Probably 20 degrees warmer than on the rim

After seeing these mules, we’re really not sure if we can do the trail on their backs...they get so close to the legde!
