We soaked in the hot springs and did a couple of really interesting hikes between Banff and Lake Louise. Lots more to see and do next time round.  Check out the BLOG!

This was the scenery around the valley the inkpots were in, gorgeous!

Spring water percolates thru the sandy bottom to form 5 different inkpots. The milky green ones fill more slowly and have a heavier suspension of materials in them than the clear, deep blue pools.

When the spring water comes thru, it creates patterns in the bottoms of the pool like this circle of swirls
