I can understand why this is one of the most visited parks in Costa Rica. Lots of wildlife and gorgeous beaches. Check out the BLOG!

This was the line up to get in at 9:30am, park is already at it’s 600 visitor limit.

Watched this iggy eating leaves while we waited to get in.

After a 20 minute wait, we were in and on the right side of the gate

Watching this sloth cross the road, right in front of us was the hilight of the day. To see this is extremely rare because they don’t make it to down to the ground very often.

You can see how close all the people were to him but he didn’t seem phased

Notice how green the fur on his head is? It’s moss! They move so slowly it actually grows on them. The stripe in the middle of his back means this is a male, at least 3 years old.

He made it to his destination, a tree on the other side of the road. Looking for a new comfy spot to eat and sleep.

A bigger, even nicer white sand beach, man the sand was friggin’ hot!

This was the only monkey we saw and he was hanging out at the beach. If you look at his hands you’ll see he’s holding something wrapped in cellophane. We watched the little bugger steal a cookie from a girl!

If you’re ever down this way, eat at El Avion, you won’t be disappointed with the food or the view. Both were awesome!
