Had a good day driving to Jaco Beach. Saw lots of wildlife and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at the beach. Check out the BLOG!

The new Caldera Highway from San Jose to the Pacific coast. No potholes or much traffic….so far. It just opened in February 2010

The walls of earth look pretty stable now but when the rainy season hits….gonna be muuuudddddyyyy!

The white stuff you see on the right is actually concrete poured over the earth to help prevent it from eroding.

But they have a lot of concrete work to go because look at these walls. No concrete here yet.

One of the detours out to the river…..saw one croc along here. You can tell by the picture but Dave’s soaked in sweat. It was really, really, really hot.
