This place is only about 90 minutes from San Jose so it’s a good day trip. A little touristy but hey, we helped support local tourism. Check out the BLOG!

Inside the bird pavilion at La Paz

Some sort of eagle, very cool looking bird but no idea what it is. This area was just being put back together so no signs on any of the enclosures.

I want to see one of these scarlet Macaws in the wild

Just as we finished lunch in the restaurant, the clouds/fog rolled in…..pretty typical at these high elevations.

They weren’t kidding! Walking thru here was unnerving….ever get buzzed by multiple hummers???????

So cute, again, not exactly sure what kind of cats these were because no signs on the cages. Still fixing up this area.
