Summary
We found a great opportunity to house and cat (Rocky) sit in Costa Rica via the internet. If you don’t know anything about house sitting, just google it! It will blow your mind how many opportunities to do this are out there! The first time (mid April - mid May 2009) worked out so well we came back a second time for 5 1/2 weeks in Feb/March 2010 and again on Jan 20, 2011 for 5 1/2 weeks.
The next year, Mike and Andee (the expats we were house sitting for) moved back to the States, specificially Florida. Who knows, maybe sometime in the future we’ll end up looking after their house and cats there.
