Who knew there was a falls this big so close to Quebec City! It was about an hour drive from the RV park in Levis we were staying at so made for a nice day trip. Montmorency Falls owes it's name to Samuel de Champlain, who christened it in honour of the Duke of Montmorency, Viceroy of New France and Brittany in 1613.
