Hi there! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! We certainly did! Lots of good times and good food with family and friends.
Quick update re our travel plans. First off we sold the Truck Camper and the trailer right after my last post! Lots of interest in our little old Lance because in the truck camper world, it’s a very good make. The guy who bought it was as excited about it as we are about our Tesla! Speaking of our new home, we brought it back to here about mid December and have been working on loading it up with all our stuff. Just about done, a few last things to sort out and we should be good to go.
So when do we go? Good question! Hoping to leave some time mid to late January. Ruth and Brian are going on a 10 day vacation soon so Dave and I are house/dog/cat sitting for them, it’s the least we could do for our “room mates” :-) Once they get back, we’ll be heading south, assuming Dave’s knee is good to go. He had surgery to repair his torn meniscus on Dec 17th and is healing up pretty fast. With any luck and some physio, his limping around days will soon be in the past.
Where are we going? Well all we have “planned” (you know we don’t really plan much!) is that we’re heading south to Texas. We think we’ll head back to an RV park we stayed at before in a small town on the gulf and fish for a couple of months. Hopefully it’s warm and the fishing is good, not like last winter in South Carolina! After that who knows…we’ll figure it out as we go!
I hope 2019 is a happy, healthy, kind and peaceful one for all of us, full of adventure, new experiences and of course lots of fun!
